This spectacular vintage scenic relief tile depicts a Dutch family near a canal. Amazing workmanship. Notice all the details in the architecture, clothing and trees. Natural looking matte glazes compliment the scene, which can be used in a fireplace surround, framed as art etc. Very lifelike and self framed. Very minor edge wear and small chip on bottom right tile (blends into border).
This is the first time we've seen a Dutch-themed scene from Claycraft, and it is very similar to those custom made by Batchelder for the famous "Dutch Chocolate Shop" in downtown L.A. This could be one of a kind.
