Founded by Ethel Harris, the San Jose workshops employed local artists to create colorful pottery and art tiles influenced by Mexican and Western cultures. Selling this impressive pair of wood-framed 8” x 4” vintage tiles made during the pottery’s early years. The young men, facing each other, are wearing traditional clothing and long shawls. Sold as a pair and ready to hang. Not sure when these were framed. A photo from our reference book shows a drawing of these tiles.
