Vintage signed tile has a smooth surface with Mexican man riding his burro. Uriarte Talavera is a traditional Talavera enterprise in the city of Puebla, which has been in existence since 1824. It was begun as a family workshop by Dimas Uriarte and is still in business today. However, they still make pottery and tiles using 16th century methods.
