Uriarte Talavera, Puebla, Mexico, circa 1920's
Uriarte Talavera is a traditional Talavera enterprise in the city of Puebla, which has been in existence since 1824. It was begun as a family workshop by Dimas Uriarte and is still in business today. However, they still make pottery and tiles using 16th century methods. This vintage tile depicts a Mexican man maneuvering his boat.

Very good condition; signed with the Uriarte mark on right side near the bottom.
